Hi everyone, second time poster several months browser

I have a question regarding the Skull Collection with regards to Fuel Cap and Fuel Gauge. I have a 2010 Vivid Black FXDF and am wanting to personlise it with some Willie G. parts and the aformentioned Skull Fuel gauge etc.

I have been doing some searching online and have found some posts on the HD Forums in the States and people have said that there have been issues with the LEDs no longer working after a short time or they are not very accurate? Granted these posts were made back in 2008 approximately, but was wondering if anyone here had done it to their Bob or new someone who had.....and maybe had some pics?

Looking for some advice/opinions etc.

I have a pair on my Fat Bob, they look great , I'll post some photos over the weekend (need to take them first). I haven't had them for long (about 2000km)  but haven't had any problems so far.  As far as accuracy goes, they seem ok, but i don't really rely on the gauge, I generally go by distance travelled.

 Wow.....they do look very good. I am guessing the photocell is hidden behind the eyes or the nose, the one that detects the amount of light.

Skull fuel caps look great, but seem to be very expensive.

Just rang Peter stevens, adelaide. Quoted $320 for both.

 Got a price last week, $292 for fuel cap plus gauge. Not sure if there is any GST on top of that, can't quite tell. Will find that out when I eventually order them.

 Can't help with price, got  them for me as a gift.
