Mate, I was going to ask the same question!!

I just picked up a seat off a mate from an old Softail.  I am going to see if I can shape the foam inside myself to replace mine.  I want to sit "in" the seat, not on it - if you know what I mean.

I did it to my V-star and it worked really well.  I weigh 60kgs ringing wet, so I can afford to thin the foam right out.

If that fails, then I too will be looking for a seat.

Here is the seat I reshaped on the V-Star

    G'day Humungus.
Not sure what look you are chasing but this seat is a ripper. It is low to the frame, provides good lower back support, lines up nicely with the swag for a "lounge chair" ride and is one of the softest seats I have tried (quite a few of my mates have Softails and all have aftermarket seats. This one is by far the comfiest). It also has a nice narrow rear with enough padding to be called into service if needed. It is a Lepera Cherokee.

That one came from O'seas (J&P Cycles) but I am sure it could be sourced locally.

    Nice!!

I just found the Harley signature series seat - looks like what I need. For some reason though, the studded version is not available for the 2010 fatty... only the smooth. Buggered if I know why!!

The badlander is IMO the best lookin seat but each to their own. Not comfortable for ur pillion though, we bought an Airhawk and Shazza says its good for about 300 klicks after that she gets a sore fact (which of course would need some attention I would have thought)

    Next trip 320 klm.

I ended ordering a Signature series. I didn't like the width of the Fatty seat, and I needed a backrest. The signature looks like it will do both for me. I am only a little fella, so hopefully it will be good!!
