2010 fatboy which i have put 422 series progressives on the rear so i can adjust ride height and are a great shock... now i have also bought the progressive drop in springs for the front and only want to drop it an inch, not 2 like they can go to.. after i emailed progressive they said to have the spacer at 3 inches, just doesn't sound right, does anyone have any info on this or where is somewhere on the net that has this info.. googled everywhere and can't find anything and just don't feel right relying on a keyboard puncher from progressive cause that might be all he is..... also i have heard that not like most harleys that can put the drop in springs in by just getting the front wheel off the ground and removing the fork caps to remove old springs and put in the new drop in's and compensator spring and spacer, that the fatboys you have to drop the forks out of the triple trees cause of a plug that needs to be removed that is hidden by the triples... does anyone have any knowledge of this??
