Hi All,
Well we finally did it, bought a Harley that is.
My name is Rick & i hail from the north side of Brisvegas (Pine Rivers area).
Have been riding & racing bikes, mainly drag racing for 30 years now & finally bought our 1st Harley a couple of weeks ago.
The bike is an 05 FXDX (as the user name would suggest) with a few extra trick bits on it, i never could stand a stock bike.
Anyway, just thought i'd pop in & say G'day & maybe get out on some rides etc;

Here ya go,
Now has new front pegs & Highway pegs moved back a bit to accomodate my short legs.
Already had the hypercharger, jet kit, screamin eagle cams, 2/1 exhaust, oil pressure guage, oil temp guage, Brembo brakes on the front, fournales shocks on the rear, braided lines etc; etc;
I am considering lowering the arse with shorter shocks, again due to my short legs.
It's fine with my missus on the back but a bit of a pain with just me.

Tops off what has already been a great & successful day.
Got the dragbike back together & fired up (it's not a Harley) & it sounds reeeeeeeeaaaaaaally cranky, can't wait to get to the track.

Like i said, it's not a Harley, it's a Kawasaki GPZ with a brand new 1463cc big block with a 1-2 auto 5 speed back cut box with neutral at the bottom.
Also runs an MTC slider clutch, 8 plug worked over cylinder head, 40mm Lectron carbies, 7" rear slick & wheelie bars.
Ran a best of 9.34sec @ 142mph with the old 1170cc engine, the new one was built to run well into the 8's at around 150 odd mph & should rip my bloody arms out of the sockets.
