    Hey Guys,

Just purchased a great set of V&H Big Radius chrome off TaffyMarsden, which were removed from his 05 Fatboy.

Im having a crack at installing myself tommorow. The bike currently has a set of Hooker 2into1 pipes fitted.

Is there any special tricks, do or donts or special tools that will make it easier ?

I have downloaded a instruction manual from V&H website. Seems relativley simple, just alot of fiddling with adjustments and nuts etc etc

    All advice appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Chad.

Mate I don't think they will fit . Your 07 has o2 sensors the 05's didn't . If they have a plug near where they fix to the engine your OK but if not you have just got more shit for the shed.

Mine was actually a late 06 build first registered in 07, so technically an 06 Bike, as far as iv seen, there are no 02 sensors. Could be mistaken tho.

    Could someone confirm this ?

Is it a 96 ci or a 88 ci the 96's have the sensors . If you have the stock pipes still fitted, go to the the front of the bike and look at the top of your front header, if there is a small piece of pipe near the top with a black cable comming out of it and running behind your regulator that is the O2 sensor. The first 07 bikes were made in 06 . Mines an 08 and I took possession in Oct 07

Checking with the member I bought them off now.

His bike is pretty heavily modified, think its a CVO Version with 103ci etc etc

Can pipes be modified to take the 02 sensor?

Ok so just googled o2 sensors and it would seem that if you have a power commander you can avoid using 02 sensors as they have o2 sensor eliminators....

My bike is a 103ci Screamin Eagle run with a power commander.

What are peoples thoughts on this ?

    Righto....

Just went for a quick run home to check out the bike.

The hooker 2into1 pipes have no sensors, so I would assume that this has been accounted for by the PowerCommander unit.
