Just read that the 20121 softails come with ABS got me thinking is it possible to put ABS on any bike (2010 softtails) and the cost of it?

I haven't ridden a bike with ABS but if it has that hammering effect that is on some cars I don't want it. You would be better off doing an advanced rider coarse and learning how to stop. I'm not being smart , there is a definate art to safely stopping in the shortest distance possible and still being in control.

I love em, quite often I will nick over the road for a quick snorkel, grab 4 or 5 good size abs, bring em home, cut em up and smack the shit out of em. Then cook em real quick on the barbie with a bit of chilli and garlic butter and eat em as an entree, while I cook the rest of tea. Yum yum yum

If Harley keep improving their bikes in this sort of direction we should all just go out and buy BMW's, that way all the improvements are done and all the character is gone. Although, i think that's probably unfair to BMW because they seem to be gaining character after years of having none, where as Harleys are losing the character that made them what they are/were. IMO.
