If I wasn't living in the Great State of Texas it would probably be Australia! I'm a long time Buell and Harley rider sweating it out in our 100+ degree F temps this summer but am down to one 98 S1 Lightning that I'm currently stripping down to paint.

Just wanted to stop in and say hi ya'll!

Dang... had to check that, 268581 square miles in Texas vs 2.97 million square miles in Australia... not sure what the km conversion is but it won't change things.

There's been many a time while sitting around the camp fire drinking whiskey that we've discussed secession and making Texas a republic again. We all decided that Australia would be the only country to be given default visas/passports to come visit AND our first military alliance would be with you guys. Let's face it, we both have the most beautiful women in the world, the best food, the wildest most hostile country/terrain where everything either bites, pokes or stings and we love to fight, fornicate and fly on our motorcycles!

My wife and I are planning to take a trip to Australia in the next year or so. Is late Spring the best time to visit? Where would you suggest we go? Sydney, Brisbane or spend it all in the back country or ??? We would only have a week or so in country so we'll have to plan accordingly.

Thanks for the tips. I'm just starting this process and appreciate your offers of hospitality. I'd love nothing more than to meet up with some of you and go ride! At least you guys drive on the correct side of the road unlike your distant Emerial cousins.... that might extend my life a bit.

How does the government there treat foreign drivers licenses? Is there something I need to do there or just hop on and go?

Oh and WTF is a 'seppo'? Seperatist?

Rhymes with septic tank?!  Did you just call me a turd? We'll have to discuss that a bit further when I come over.... I don't think we have such a term for you guys... other than Aussies.....  well there is Caneater..... but that's not very common, oh and RooFuckers.......heard that once......but in East Texas there's quite a few inbreeders, just like in Arkansas and Louisiana... they tend to prefer sheep.

This may sound odd but we prefer to be called Texans before someone calls us Americans or Yanks...... but Yank doesn't bother us either.

Otherwise, I'll answer to just about anything as long as it's used in an endearing manner.

Don't be offended. The ryhming slang is common in Australia. Septic tank = yank, bag of fruit = suit, cheese and kisses = missus. Generally, if people mock you, or poke fun at you it means they like you. Damn, I gotta go to Texas one day!!!

God Damn Boy! How Do American!

Mighty glad you found our little spot down heah so welcome aboard! These fucken Aussies are a pain in the ASS but pretty good people most times....they do like to pull your leg and have a little funnin when they can, but they do it cuz they like you.... For some reason they call it "takin the piss" but I hain't never figgered that out yet.

One thing you gotta watch out for when you come down heah--Aussie-stralia has some of the most bightin'est and stingin'est critters you could imagine. Of the (I think) 10 most deadly snakes in the world, they are all here. The same goes for spiders too.

One thing you can count on-- if ur ever in trouble for anythang, an Aussie will go out of his way to hep you so don't you worry about nothin-- ya heah? Oh yeah-- forgot to tell you-- some men down here like their sheep wearin rubber boots and call them Baaa-braaa, and most of the women have to face shave, but once in a while you strike a cleanskin-- just not too offen...

Now git yo ASS on down heah and have some fun with us...! U R welcome anytime!
