Your Thoughts on true Track

I thought there was something wrong with my 06 Lowrider when cornering hard two up and was considering new rear shocks as it wallows (almost feels like the tyre is underinflated). When reading another post on here I see other forum members have talked about the True Track device http://www.true-track.com/1_2006_010.htm and wanted to know if this really works, would appreciate some feedback boys.

    Cheers

Check out www.sputhe.com they have a Positrac Dyna Chassis Stabiliser. It fits to both lower engine mounts, thus stabilising the drivetrain at two points. True Trac only holds at one point near the bottom of the gearbox. This allows the drivetrain to pivot about the top mount and the true trac. The Sputhe job does not pivot and thus gives better handling. You dont loose ground clearance with the Sputhe set up either.

I now use Ohlins shocks, they are way better than Icon and Fournales. Matched Race Tech springs and valves are an excellent investment. Try using AMSOIL Shock Therapy fork oil.

The difference this gear makes is worth the cost.

Have had a True Track fitted to my 07 Wideglide. 07 models have thicker frame, but True Track say it fits all models. The rear stabiliser had to be ground out to fit around the frame, but it still hits on the frame. I have been in touch with True Track U.S.A. and suppliers, Mackay Motorcycles and neither want to admit to a fault or will try to fix it. My wideglide handles really well and I did not find any improvement at all with the True Track.

Hey Mainey... think there was an article in Heavy Duty a couple mags ago... claims you can get an extra 30K cornering speed

fitted mine last month but only been out smelling the roses since fitted s have to wait till end of the month.

Only issue I had was the rear brake sensor... had to carefully reposition the sensor. Talk to Dazza or come on the meet and greet ride for OSP next Saturday and we can discuss and I'll give you guidlines on buying and fitting. :)
