UPDATE 3pm: THREE people have been charged after police raided houses in Melbourne's southeast for child pornography early this morning.
Detectives charged the men with child pornography offences following this morning’s raids in the Frankston area.
A 61-year-old from Frankston North and a 42-year-old from Seaford were charged with possess child exploitation material and bailed to Frankston Magistrates Court on 31 August.
A 48-year-old Carrum Downs man is expected to be charged on summons with possess child exploitation material.
It comes after police executed warrants on five homes in the Frankston area from 6.30am confiscating computer hard drives and other material.
The three men, a 61-year-old from Frankston North, a 48-year-old from Carrum Downs and a 42-year-old from Seaford, are assisting police with their inquires.

Police tracked down the trio using sophisticated technology which lets them target specific, geographic areas of Melbourne and Victoria.
Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad, E-Crime Squad and members of Frankston police conducted the raids.
Det-Inspector Glenn Davies, from the Sexual Crimes Squad, said the arrests were the culmination of months of work by police including the squad's internet child exploitation team.
"We now have the technology to proactively target people accessing, downloading and making available child abuse material, he said.
"They will be caught and they will face the consequences of this illegal activity.''
Det-Inspector Davies said more targeted operations were planned throughout the year.
