WOW  , de tuned 1198 mtr , on a 200kg trail bike .. that about sums it up.  except for full electrics incl suspension , 4 different engine maps, ( from Enduro to Sport ) heated hand grips , the works !  going to put a deposit on it.  the BMW GS was just too tame for me.  ( yes i have had a very very good think about reliability and that this is a completely new model )

BUT IT IS THAT GOOD !  Seat ergonmics fab. the only thing that i didnt get a good feel was buffeting ... but that always depends on a persons height etc .

 

 

pics when i get it. they showed me a couple of pre delivery ones out the back of Frasers , sport and touring , red and arctic white respectively. the Touring in Arctic white looked the goods. cornering at speed was superb . felt similiar gearing to my Mille.

Guy I ride with recently got the S. Rode with him when he first got it round Adelaide Bull Run, etc on my 1098S and it absolutely flew, even though he looked like he was laid back on a HD. The S has the traction control and all the carbon bits as well. V nice. Congrats when you get it, you'll love it. Hey if it ain't a Harley, it's gotta be a Duke (or vice versa) Not sure what this has to do with Harleys though??

i understand that service interval is double other Dukes . costs ? now now , try not to spoil it for me .

i also just found that 2 bog std bikes just came 1st and 3rd in pikes peak. would have been first and second except 1 rider fell off last corner.
