    G'Day Motley Crew,

Well what a blast of a weekend.  Pics to be posted up later today or tonight.

I dips me lid to Darkman. Darklady & Yokel for getting up a sparrow fart for the run.

6am Satuday (running late) as my luggage bag was wanting to stress me out an not go on properly.  I arrived at 6.15am to find Yokel, Son of Beaver, Beaver, Darkman and Darklady already at the BP Servo at St Peters.  Coffees in hand and Beaver giving me a frown look and pointing to his watch (fugg me it was a 6.20am depart - I was 5 min utes early) Beaver was only pulling the piss outta me.   The weekend banter was warming already.  6.25 we saddled up and ducked down the Princes Highway to Maccas @ Heathcote where more coffee / breekie was consumed.  Here we linked up with Burtman & Pearcy.  Also in attendance (for the day ride) was Trev who realised he was the only one that turned up for the day ride.  Trev made a decision within a few minutes after amking sure he had his credit card  saying,  "Bugga this - I am coming also".   Legend work Trev.

Back on the bikes a bit after 7.20am and down the Princes Highway to Albion Park Rail BP for a re-fuel stop to ensure the Sporties were not too thirsty for the next jump.  Off again down the Princes Highway, sun was well up - weather was sunny and cloudless - excellent rididng conditions - not a great lot of cars - so we were able to weave out way down to Bewong Caltex (south of Nowra) where we picked up McGregor.  (great to meet you mate).  McGregor says the Big Breakfast is superb here at the Caltex Roadhouse (Truckie Stop).  Anyway, after a 10e minute break here for the smokers then it was back on the bikes running another 40 clicks south to pick up Mumbles at the Ulludulla Caltex (make sure you check the picture of Jacob (Son of Beaver) crashed on the grass verge (when I load it up).  Anyway, after a few refuelled and a mumble with Mumbles we moved on.

Mumbles Country, so he kindly offered and took the lead (and a grand job he did). Moving further south along the Princes Highway till we hit the Batemans Bay Caltex.  Here all the Bay Boyz were waiting.  After a meet and greet, a few refuelled then it was off to Narooma where we all lunched.

Burto took charge and provided a scenic route with a lot of hilly twisties added in for our enjoyment and some times terror in making the tight bend here and there or dodging an oncoming HIghway Copper who was doing mach 10 northbound and bounced over onto the centre line scattering a few HDs to the far left of the road to make sure if he bounced one more time.

Down into Merimbula and along the flats to the Pambula Bike Show.  Great inaugral show put on to aid the local community.  Some dedicated peoplke made it work.  Nice friendly people down there in the far south coast.  Bike Show over - back to our Motel (see pics when loaded) - lock the bikes away after Q returned from the bike show (awsome ride there Q).  Bikes locked away, guard dogs released - we showered, shaved and made oursleves look pretty (Darklady - not you Burtman).  The Pub Courtesy bus made a few runs and we were all back at the Pambula Pub (The Bay Boyz were quick and got the first bus and were on their 3rd teeth crackin cold schooner).  Later a feed, a band and more teeth crackin cold beers.  We all slowly drifted back to our digs (some far much later than others).

Unfortunately, Burtman had a serious family matter that impacted on his weekend.  But, like a good man - he soldiered on till he was able to ride back home on Sunday.  Way to far and dangerous to ride back in the dark after a long ride down.  Out thoughts are with you Burtman.

Sunday morning cooked breekie (thanks again Q) and it was homeward bound.  The Bay Boyz & Bcambo stayed a few more hours before leaving - Mumbles led us back up the Highway - it was brsk and cool but what a fantastic ride on great roads with wonderful scenery.   Mumbles - your the man for getting up (or did you stay up all night?) and bringing us back up the coast to Ulludulla. One part of the ride was a dual lane up mountain twisty highway - newly made - with deep dark tall trees on all sides - Burtman and I cranked together (a lane each) all the way up those beautiful bends.   Burtman and I agreed at the next fuel stop what a hoot that part was.

Once again a great weekend away.  Fantastic to catch up with everyone, the new faces, Mumbles, Sparra & The Bay Boys, Bcambo, McGregor, People of Pambula and whoever else we may have meet during Saturday Night (I reckon my crook gut on Sunday was from the coke cola not the JD).  Thanks Burto for everything

Did anyone end up with a proper Motley Crew Bike count?

I roughly figured 18?  Anyone get a better (true) count, please?

     WHAT A BLAST!!!!!

Great weekend, great people, great ride!

Filmed (poorly on phone) 16 bikes crossing Wapengo Bridge, between Bermi and Tathra, so incuding me thats 17, plus there was AJ who left us at Narooma(never saw him again after that, but I assume he made it to the show.)

This show will be bigger and better next year, with a comittee being formed soon to organise it.

Great to catch up with all you guys, most of whom have been faceless names till now. I had a ball!

....................Oh yeah, I should have warned you....................DO NOT, under any circumstances, no matter what anyone says, I repeat, DO NOT go back to Fatboy Bar after hours!

The beer there is very dodgy!!...............................The last one I tried made me pass out!

Glad to see everyone made it home OK, and to the guys from up Newcastle way...........FKN Well Done! Legendary!

Yes - its all been said here - Great Crew, Ride, Accom, Pub, Beer, Laughs, Burto's Mate Q is a legend. I even won a bet on the footy, then Burto talked me into go his mates bar, it was terrific - (Hey Mumbles) The Fatboy Bar - Highly recommended - I was there for a second and Terry told me to help myself - so I did!! ( we did put a few $$ in)
I would say that all 17 of us had a ball - and still Pi on the way home. Don't know how I got a good bruise or 2 on my back - so I must have had fun!!
    Where we going this Wknd!!
Top effort from you lot up North!!
