One week old. Thanks for all the feedback over the last few weeks everyone - a huge help in getting this sorted out. Thinking back to the good ol' Iron and riding through rain, mud and hail without a second thought. Now if there is a cloud between Sydney and Perth, I ain't goin' (Hopefully I'll be over that by next week).
The SEII pipes are back on - nowhere near as cool (and not quite as loud) than The V&H Big Radius but a very nice deep "Thump, thump, thump" compared to the V&H bark. A personal thing. Pity the previous owner was more interested in show than go, because the next thing (in a few months with luck) will have to be a tuner to get it calibrated for the heavy breather. I like the smoked tail light.
The home of chrome. The wide bars feel like power steering, but make you lean a bit forward and it feels a bit twitchy at speed. Flush fuel cap and flush LED fuel gauge.
Boards, bars and breather. The new crash bars are pretty low so they might protect the engine but I'm more worried about the impossible-to-match paintwork. Better idea would be to not drop it.
Must be the world's least effective seat - but gosh it looks good And the bare metal under the clear coat looks the goods but one stone chip = instant rust.
tell ya what , i've got a fat over your fat,
and why the hell does'nt mine look that damn clean, there's just something about a CVO, just that bit more impressive, nice
Need to get the fishin line onto those stupid harley reflectors,
worryn about the paint will last a week
