The King of Indecision has struck again. Just left my new ride with the dealer to have crash bars fitted. By the time I got there I decided the V&H pipes were great for clearing a path through the traffic but just too distracting and annoying - especially on start up in the neighbourood. Instructed the dealer to put the original SE pipes back on but most reviews on these online claim they are way too quiet. I like that deep SE sound though... But the V&H look mega cool...but the SE's will have better back-pressure performance...but...
Anyway commited now. I can always put the V&H back. Has anyone heard the 103 motor with SEs? It has a Heavy Breather as well but not sure how it was tuned to the breather and V&H. There is no module in the bits and pieces box so so it must be one of those other gadgets. I'm hoping the breather will help beef up the SE sound a bit more.
Here it is with the V&H, followed by a shot with original SEs fitted (way cooler IMHO with the V&H, but the NOISE.....):
The Big Radius look better, but considering the 103 kit you're probably better off with better performing pipes than better looking ones.
