All bull shit aside it is good to see, i may need some help convincing my partner to buy a hog though if any one has any tips? She loves going for a ride but i think she lacks the confidence to do it on her own, i have taught her to ride a trail bike and she is awsome on that but cant get her to take the nexxt step!
Any ideas?

kane - if you get your partner to just try one in a quiet area that doesn't have traffic through it, or even to do a course - I agree with Lou Lou that this helps a lot, I am sure that once she gets the feel of it, you won't be able to hold her back

I am a female rider whose male partner does not ride - he used to (another lifetime ago) and doesn't want to now, says that he just isn't into it.  A shame, really as I have tried to get him on mine (which is solo) or even pillion on bigger bikes, I kept thinking that if he just got the "feeling" once, that would lead into his own bike.  I wonder if there is any way I could get him interested (other than the obvious ways - even they haven't worked!!!!)  At least your partner does ride, so I think you are at least more than halfway there... (lucky you!)

Hi Hogman, sorry to hear that - you will know my frustration then!  Maybe we should start a thread as to how to get the other halves to join us?  On the other hand, maybe it is best as you can just concentrate on what you love to do....
