     Well i just got home and FUCK ME .... the muscle is everything i expected and then a shit load more ..... no pics yet but will sort out soon

    love my 883 C but it seems a bit ordinary when compared and i only ridden 50km ... HEAPS more riding to come ... WATTO

    good to see, the only thing about a rod is you miss the sound of the aircooled vtwin, luckily for me my missus has a 1200 sporty custom with pipes cams and intake so its good to get out on occasionally, even though my bike is louder and quicker its still good to hear that rumble

    I agree I got mine a couple of weeks ago and it is totally awesome from the lights
    I do miss the air cooled v twin sound, but shit not when I twist my right hand!

    As for mods I am not sure as yet -

     well Dr. i only did 40km got home friday and thats were it sat all weekend ... crapola in SA hills . got my son tomorrow but hopefully ride down to HOG meeting tues night ... I put the TAB pipes on and fuck the sound is LUSH .... and frigging loud .. going to put black levers and get Troy from nightmare designs to airbrush something on them , also doing bigger foot pegs for my big feet .. factory just a bit small ... CANT wait for a decent ride

    Hey Watto . I agree on the pegs, but for the rest I am waiting on summer there was some talk of a heat issue and I will wait and see if there is one before I go pipes etc. I will watch your project with interest though, enjoy!!!

    i put the new kuryakyn or however its spelt switchblade flame pegs on mine, fukn awesome they are, much better than standard

     Well not ridin' the beast since friday when i picked it up BUT got the willie G pegs on ... heaps more room and today dropped a set of black levers and the horn cover off to Troy at Nightmare Designs for some airbrushing .... should look PHAT

     soon i promise .... 2 weeks on airbrushing so will put up when all sorted ... looks stock except for pipes at moment ... not that stock a bad thing with the muscle

     Hey ... got them from peter stevens in Adelaide .. they fitted when bike new no worries .. They had to bring over from melbourne probably from there central store ... getting baffles put in next week as just TOO loud when on long trips at 110 km/h

     sorry bro ... bike in getting baffles all week and waiting for some roland sands design hand grips to come in ... also the airbrushing work on horn cover and levers still not done .. still looks like a stocker ...

    Il have pics of my vrod up next week, almost ready to put back together, i bought a new custom airbox cover from the states and decided to repaint all the tins,looking sweet so far

    Hey Watto,
    I have just ordered some TABS (with the removable baffles) I am assured its an easy job. What do you think of the rear shocks? I have done a couple of shorter runs and they corner well enough but give me a kick up the arse on some of the country roads. I am thinking of some air shocks - anyone with some experience?

     Hey Doc ...... only done 500 km so far cause SO WET here in SA but rear seems ok .. i really want to air shocks in the future aswell, lots of discussion on 1130cc.com...... i had an exhaust company but extra baffle in so not sure how hard to do BUT i tell ya ya need them ... still loud in the rev range but cruising at 110 much more pleasant ... NO ringing in ears after

    Only had my Vrod Muscle a few weeks

    Best thing I have ever purchased

    Hell of a lot different to my old rigid shovel (But I am keeping the old girl)

    Is there any one here in Victoria that has fitted TAB pipes,, would appreciate comments, and also love to hear what they sound like before I go ahead and purchase

    Looking at the TAB pipes the complete system including their fuel manager and filter as they fall in to my budget at the moment

    Are you able to retain the back foot pegs when you install the TAB pipes

    i had extra baffles installed and Heaps better and yeah no worries with rear foot pegs

    Fitted my TABS not sure if I need extra baffles or not....but I will wake the neighbours if I ride late he he he...

    Ive got V & H 2-1 Comp pipe and it is bloody loud. Thinking about moding the stockers for long rides of 1000+km. Or maybe extra baffles if available. What are they worth?
