A man is on the run from police in south east Queensland, after a violent carjacking north of Brisbane yesterday.
Police say the man crashed a stolen motorbike into a parked car in Caboolture.
Witnesses tried to help him, but he drew a gun.
He then forced the occupants of a passing car out of their vehicle, and drove off.
That car was later found burnt out.
The man is described as tall with a slim build, and is believed to be aged in his 40s.
He was wearing black motorcycle leathers and a helmet.
Police warn anyone who sees the man should not approach him.
