Hey, I just wanna know outta curiosity why my CV carb doesnt have a drain plug in the float bowl. Every other carb ive looked at has one but mine. I gotta take the whole bowl off to drain any crap sitting in the bowl. Does anyone know the difference between the CV carbs? Any advice is greatly appreciated, Ed.

hi ,  they are  a mass produce carb , cost efective  but work well,  drain fuel cock 1st  take bowl off & back blow the idle & main jet to  clean,      the idle is easy too block as is only very small like 0.018" or 0.45 m.m. so you have to take off the fuel bowl anyway to clean it ,

One of the reason you have to remove the fuel bowl to drain it is so that if you bugger the O ring seal during removal or installation you get to buy a new O ring.....

Hell you'd have to have bad luck to stuff it-- just R&R with care.
