Depends what you like in life - there is heaps to see in the Kimberley, Pilbara and Mid West Regions of WA but 10 days for Darwin to Perth doesn't give you a hell of a lot of time to see all of the good things.
Halls Creek - The butcher used to have a sign on the door " We sell tough tasteless stringy beef" and he is true to his word ( I reckon he gets it from Moola Boola Station where the meat is inedible) - Good view from Mt Barrett if you can get your bike up there
Fitzroy Crossing I love the Crossing Inn but the clientele can put folks off side - They have Condom Trees in Fitzroy Crossing - see if you can find one (Hint, they usually hang from the branches where the natives congregate...they are tins hanging from tree branches that are filled with condoms to try and reduce the spread of STD's) The high tide line inside the Crossing Inn also gives you an idea of the height the mighty Fitzroy River can get to when in flood. If you run across a Mad Mick in Fitzroy (he wears a sarong), tell him GB says get fucked!
Derby A great town for drinking and fishing
Broome Lots of Grey Nomads and young nymphs as well - the nude beach sometimes has some nice scenery and the piss and food at Matsos is great.
Hedland Good fishing and piss drinking but has lost its charm with the FIFO industry. Back in the seventies and eighties when I used to live there it was great
Carnarvon - Gone to shit over the last ten years
Geraldton - Has become a mini Capitol City but the drinking is good - go to Perth via the Indian Ocean Drive which is not as boring as the Brand Highway or inland road.
When you get to Perth put a post on the forum or PM me and we will show the sights of Perth

Sounds like a great ride mate. Don't come too close to Perth to soon though. It's going to be a little wet for a while....Point Samson/Wickham, Exmouth & Coral Bay are good stops. Even Kalbarri further down is a good stopover. Not to much going on at these places but they're nice towns to drop in. Good fishing spots if your into it? Most of the towns have great touristy things to see. Also keep an eye on where the servo's are....Enjoy....

Wyndom as well....5 rivers lookout and think "King of the Bastion" is on...thats a billy cart race down the biggest hill ya ever seen...great day out
plus if ya check out the wharf you can see the monster crocs just paddling by...freaky
there is a place between the 2 towns...its a gorge in the ground...lots of steps down but a great place for a swim...cant remember the name of it
