Trophies: Best in Show, Best Harley, Best Other, Best Trike & Peoples Choice.
Run Returns to Clubrooms approx 3pm. Clubrooms open to Visitors.
This event is held to remember those who have died or suffered for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts & to also proudly raise funds for our local charity - Breakaway Inc.

7 weeks to go for this ride/run.... the route has been sorted... no big surprises from last year... as last years run was smooth as... and apprarently word is... a decent band has been booked... ... hhhmmm.... guess you'll have to be there to find out..!?

Still looking for sponsors to make it a success for our charity... but the lads are out there doing there best... bit different this year.. by this time last year.. we had more then enough to make the day a success... but this year... not so easy.. guess it's a bit tighter now a days.. but still getting a few on board..!? Our crew did the Reccy run yesterday.. the weather was perfect...!? Lets hope it's the same on the day..!? Ride route all good... as there doesn't appear to be any major road works happening at the mo'... but this is Queensland... so that can change in a week or so... :o
For the Roll the Dice.. there's good money up for grabs for 1st, 2nd and last place...!? Plus some good stop overs for a refreshing drink (and a feed if you want it)..!? It's a simple run... with some twisties in the middle... nothing overly challenging.. and you can ride at your own pace..!?
All the rest of the planning is taking shape nicely... but I got to pull me finger out and sort the bike show stuff (the bike show will take place upon return to the clubrooms)..!? Anyone keen.. there's a good number of Trophies on offer (Entrants need to have registered for the Roll the Dice Run)... and possibly prizes to go with it (need to confirm as it gets closer)!?

Busy weekend just had... been running around painting signs.... printing shit out... sorting out flag poles... run shit here... run shit there... and I got the whole family on to it...!?
I've just finished washing the bike... and anyone that knows me well enough... knows that don't happen too often... fuck... lucky this show only happens once a year...
Off to pick up some more gear this arvo.. then finalise the bike show shit during the week.. plus a few other things... then Kaos hit's Friday/Friday night... and I'll be flat out Saturday... all fucking day..!? Will be looking forward to my first JD.... but that won't happend till later at night (for us PMB members)... cause them the rules...!? As this day is for everyone to enjoy... and to raise some good money for some good people... but for us members... well... it's our time to sweat... and proudly...!?

We ride no matter what... well... except in Tornados... well.. that's only cause we haven't been tested on that yet.. LOL... but let's not go there..!?
I've checked the forecast.. and they've said possible thunder storms for Sat... Possible.. and thunder storms.. so I guess the positive is that it's not saying rain... so 'possibly'.. a thunderstorm in the arvo.. which shouldn't affect the ride.. by the time it would likely hit.. we should be back at the clubrooms.. on our third or fourth bourbon.. winning monies, raffles and trophies...!?
I guess if it does rain.. it will sort out the 'true riders'...!?

What a great day and turn out no Rain. Thanks to Chops and the team would have loved to say for the party but will plan it better next time.

We like to run it with Military Precision... and hoped it sort of comes off that way on the day..!?
It was a perfect Weather day... good/great Run (although... too many cars on the Hwy)... and some great peoples... and heaps of everything on offer.. although... didn't see any tits out..!? Not even at 2am this morn...!? (Will have to fix that for next year)..!?
Had two come off on the first leg.. both for at the same moment...? Got main trashed bike sorted and did a drop off to get the rider (or was that superman) to a mate who was taking him to hospital to get checked out...! He'll be sore... and likely some sort of fracture to his left leg... but hitting the back of an almost stationary car at about 80 - 90 Klicks.. will do that..!? The other bloke dropped his bike at low kays.. and it was still rideable... he's pissed tho'.. cause it only came out of the shop a week prior..!?
Apart from all that.. it was smooth running..
And apologies for anyone on the ride... as ya probably saw... I was running around like a mad man... and I didn't have a chance to catch up with any many.. if any..!?
Although... once the run and bike show was done... I smashed in to a heap of JD's, kicked back and caught up with those who had settled in to the music and company.....!?
I've only just got home now... and just...!? Could do with a new Liver and a couple of kidneys...!? Off to cleanse myself.. and crashe out for a bit...!?
