Anyone up for an Iron Butt ride?

Once the weather improves a little, I'm thinking mid September. Open to suggestions though.

I'm not too keen on riding 1610kms somewhere only to have to turn around the next day and head home, I am thinking melb to Sydney outskirts or there abouts, maybe a quick catch up with some of the N.S.W. guys then head back.

Not planning on making it an outright cannonball run but leave in the early hours and try and maintain a decent (Not quite lose your licence) speed while the roads are a little less congested, then backing of to a legal pace while P.C. Plod and every other clown is on the road. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but because of such i will keep exact date / time off the forum. Shoot me a P.M. if you're keen????????

I'll be in it, best I did was 1100 in a day Brisbane to Parks down the guts
Let at 5am and only stopped as it was 40c all day and at 7pm I thought "Hmmm Beer O'Clock" and had too many to keep riding
But let me know when and I'll be up for it
