Hi guys, I have a 2005 Fatty on the way which has a set of Big Radius fitted. Heard them at the dealer and just about had a heart attack they were so loud.  I really like the SE muflers on my Iron, nice deep sound and not too loud. The V&H sound pretty harsh but I like the look. How common is it for the law to act on these? The bike comes with the original SE pipes so I could get the dealer to re-fit these before delivery if the general opinon is these are better.

Kingchops, I remember you once saying there wasn't a lot of diff in the sound, though the V&H are naturally louder.

Observations and opinions everyone? Of the V&H and SE, which ones would you go with?

The V + H look great - try the baffles and see what happens to the performance

I had a set fitted to my superglide, got done in a RBT stop, he went over the bike with a torch, and as soon as he seen them , his first question was , do you have a engineers report, not that they are too loud

Had to fit the stock back on, I currently have Screaming eagle slip ons, with aftermarket baffles, still have the big radius in a box up in the shed roof

I put them back on when the cops settle down

I have to admitt that they are a bit load taffy, but I like the look of them

I have a set of J & P cycles baffles in the screamin eagles, they are a little more open than the stock ones, but not straight through, some time I like the sound and other days, I don't
