An absolute bute day for a ride, Headed out this morning @ 9 , Left bacchus marsh headed towards Gisbourne then out to lancefield to wallan hit the highway back into Campberfield down the ring road and back up the western highway to the marsh, Stopped for lunch and a lemon lime and bitters ,what a great day

My ute wouldn't Fire up this morning , so at 6.30 am I wheeled out the Bike for the frist time in 3 months. As the Bike was warming up in the drive way.. I when is side just to catch the last of the 6.30 News and Weather, Point Cook where I should be in about 15 min,,,,, 1 Deg,,,,,, Not a good day for the Ute not to start. I didn't thor out till about 10.30

 4 FS mate...   I rang you, left a message, & was availiable to come down in the ute with the camera to take pictures & laugh..

not good but lucky.. what time ? i was heading from lorne to the bay .left lorne around 1.30ish. only saw one bike coming towards lorne. blue ultra.

ahh . bad timing.. its a prick of a place to break down. i remember years back breakin a belt on my ultra along there. by the time i got a trailer organised and picked up the bike was about 4 hours. and i live just over the hills from where i saw you. since that day i built a trailer to carry a harley with winch etc and have never needed it. couldve helped you out no worries if i had been a few minutes later passin you. like i said, lucky escape though. not a good road to take a spill. and tourists along there wouldnt even see you if you were lyin on the road. there too busy looking for koalas or whales. there werent a lot of bikes out for such a sunny day, even though it was still freezin cold. let me know via here next time you head down that way. might catch up for a beer.

is this a dumb question? why 3 tyres in less than a year, are the crap, or are you just unlucky? glad it all ended well, considering the other option, have a bourbon, or 10 and enjoy

I managed 160k's today, down to queesncliff then to Barwon heads and back through Geelong to home. Didnt even wear gloves, great day for a ride.
