Hi would like to know if anyone else has had this happen:

I listed my bike for sale on trading post last week, then received an sms requesting I email more information about the bike as they wanted to buy it no bartering no questions asked. Thought this was a bit strange so rang the number, turns out the bloke is in Malayisa. Here is a copy of his email, If you receive something like this DO NOT go ahead with anything as it is a scam. Hope this helps people selling stuff and also gives people an idea of what to look for

Thanks for getting back to me, in regards to the shipment of the bike down to malaysia, the bike will be picked up and get shipped down to malaysia by a private courier agent, they will come for the pick up after the payment by Paypal, . I will be expecting more pictures from you and i want you to know tha for the payment this can only be done through paypal because with that we are both secured

Hi Hound_Dog here is the number that came up with the sms +60122375403. When I contacted the trading post they informed me that the trading post was for Aussie buyers only and if someone from overseas was interested then they should at least have a proper contact here in Oz that you can deal with to make sure the sale is legit

Thanks, I dont want to sell the bike but have to, you know wife, kids, bills, etc, would have been a real pain in the arse to have scamed and left with nothing. Kinda like the first wife really

Just had the same thing. What person dosen't haggle or want to see the bike. How do they rip you off with Paypal?
