After fitting the shocks the other day and having few small solo rides, I had not really noticed and different, just a bit firmer. Today, however i went for a 2 hour ride 2 up and it was like riding a different bike, before the rear end was all over the place.
Before my girl was always complaining about the bumps, in the past we changed the pillion seat to heritage one and had bought 2 air hawk cushions, each time improving it slightly for her. Today I had the fat boy pillion seat back on and she loved it. and I barley noticed her back there.
I went on some of the roughest roads in and out of Hobart, only once did it bottom out so she said, over a railway crossing, but I was pushing pretty hard trying to see if I could get it to bottom, I didn't notice.
I should have done this a year ago when I first got the bike.
Well worth the $554 dollars from the states.
Now for the front end.

Do you need to take out the rear mounting bolt to adjust these or do you just undo the locknut and screw them in or out???
I don't know what the "lowering bolts added" are! You can see pictures here.
