Hello to all, I am into British bikes and own a number of them including the Norton Commando which I have had for 25 years. As you can imagine I have gotten pretty good at fixing oil leaks and carrying out general maintance over the years.
Any way I have always wanted a Harley and have finally decided to buy one in the next few months. Unfortunately the finances will not stretch to buying a new bike so I am hoping to buy a good low mileage machine. I know nothing about Harleys other than being told that they are ultra reliable. I am leaning towards a Road King or Fatboy and hope to gather as much information as I can from this forum before I buy.
Hope the picture of my Norton is acceptable on this site as it is all I can show you till I get the Harley.
regards, Nilo
Welcome Nilo hope you enjoy the forums. If you want to do a fair bit of touring i would go for the road king but the fatboy is a great bike to its just i found the road king a bit more comfy.
Howdy Nilo, welcome.
Hope ya find the Harley that will do ya right.
P.S. if ya sell that Norton to me, then ya finances will let ya buy a new Harley ! (nice bike mate)
G'day Nilo
welcome to the forum
Welcome mate and good luck with the new ride what ever you end up getting
welcome... nice wheels.... all the best with finding the right Harley...
Welcome to the best Harley forum m8, well, i would be leaning to the fatboy for a gr8 all round machine, but if you want to do really big klms, go the roadking. All comes down to what your aiming to do, u will work it out, test ride what you are keen on. Great looking Commando buddy!
G'day mate welcome to the forum.
