White Wall cleaning tips required

     My white walls ar'nt as white as they used to be ... Sponge and soapy water just smudges ...

     

    Please, what is the best way to clean them and tips on keeping them that way.

    try jiffy and some light steel wool

    Yeah i use jiffy and a wet green kitchen scourer. works great.

    Best way to keep em clean Sim, do as others have said with jiff and scourer...........

    Then put in shed and dont ride Bwaaahhhaaaa.

    Like ur gunna be able to do that. Nice ride

    Yep - what they said add a bike jack so you can spin the tyres if you have one

    $2 degreaser and a hose works if you do em after every couple of rides ive found.. also a small karcher high pressure cleaner gets that blue stuff they put on from new without any dramas.

    I went and priced the cost of rep-lacing the white wall on my Ultra prices varied but around 40 to 50 dollars more a tyre so guess what black looks lovely and no more cleaning.

    $2 degreaser, clean rag ( critical) and a Repco bike lift. Sweet as

    Try abit of wet n dry sand paper. Works wonders

    I used mineral turps and a clean rag. using a bike lift makes it easier.

    buy the toilet brush it saves the skin on your knuckles.

    a cheap car degreaser is best ive found don't get the watery type or itll smudge get the stuff that foams when ya spray it on and use a clean micro fibre cloth to clean off no scrubbing needed make sure ya dry em after ya wash or ya get those black streaks also found it handy to clean ya exhaust if ya got side shots etc as the carbon build up blows on em after ya clean em leaving black dots all over ya wheels

    Dont know how well it will work but the old ball & chain is suggesting bi carb of soda mixed to a paste & rubbed on (then washed off) would work well.
