Been told by local dealer that I have to replace the whole to bracket if I want to put risers on my bike ($500 for parts!)

Anyone else know if theres a work around or indeed is this the case?

yes the streetbobs have a p.i.t.a. top triple tree ,especially if you want/risers/t-bars etc..for a couple hundred more you could get a complete kit top&bottom w-glide triple trees and axle..and then add your risers too !!
