Finally got over the 500klm break in barrier and gave the CVO a really good blast to/from Wisemans. She performed like a star. VERY HAPPY. But still got some great headshake at around 140 on some turns (need to try less tire pressure too). All those shakes and rattles must have added up I guess... Started thinking my knee is not gripping the bike as well as it was a while back, then notice i have a slight pressure down on the right calf muscle, look down and my entire air cleaner assembly has dissmantled itself and I'm just holding it to the bike with my leg!
Gold. Could'nt believe it, the bolts were 4" long and had ALL come undone... some very sloppy work at the ol' USA/AUS prep/despatch station me thinks. Stuffed around trying to find something to choke her with for the ride home, the old 110 tried to eat a peice of cloth when i revved it, then I took off my Beanie and she made a perfectly fitted air cleaner cover / filter and I cruised home. (thank you to old m8 Simo for sticking by me and carrying some parts home etc)
Anyway, saved me 10 minutes as when I got home just installed the new MoFlow with everything else was pre-stripped!!! WTF eh? These new bikes, all these self detaching parts, top stuff, amazing technology....
