Guys I'm looking at getting something a bit more comfortable than the Iron (love the bike but had a fast run over rough stuff yesterday and it shook my fillings out so anything lowered is hereby off the shopping list). I was looking at a Deluxe or Heritage but have a sudden surge of enthusiasm for the Fat Bob. How does it handle with that big fron tyre. Any other comments? I'm a bit of a newbie and will be coming straight off the 883.

I've been around a few mate, Dyna is #1 and Bob is top of the Dynas - if you want handling.

You will also finally be a real HD man mate, people checking out your little matte black 883 and stuff mate, that's curiosity, not respect.

Can certainly recommend the FB , I have an 09, lol  and the exact opposite urge  , I am looking at going to a Deluxe or Fatboy, planning on doing some loner distance cruising and rumbling along the highway and the deluxe seems a bit better suited,  I got to say the Fatbob handles better than any other Harley i have ridden , Save some money check out the fole sale section of the forum and if your in  my part of the country send me a message for me more nifo if you want to consider near new

 

 

ive got an 08 fatbob nice bike handles great but tend to hit pegs often forward controls

So wots the crack there TaffyMarsden esquire, parting with your hard earned?? Any closer to a decision?

My conscience is saying wait a bit, I'll know better how the $$ are looking in a month or so. BTW every time I look at the Iron I have to apologise to it for being so disrespectful. I LOVE that bike! Maybe I have to try to get extra parking (and a night job) so I can keep it.
