I have an 09 Fatty. My +3" Arlen Ness forward control extensions seem to far forward I am almost fully stretched and its a struggle to get to the rear brake. Problem is stock length is to short. Any suggestions and pics. Ive heard about heel stirrups?? At the moment ive gone back to my boards, I like the feel and look of them but am scraping the shit out of them. I was thinking about putting the +2" board extentions but dont want to waste anymore money if it doesnt help with scraping. I have Fournales, not lowered and 2" over forks with progressive springs. This helped but still scraping, admittedly mainly tighter stuff, ie 35K ect klm bends. You can hear me coming down Macquarrie Pass!!!

One of the best things I put on. The only drama was that it puts your feet out about 1 1/2 inches wider and a long way from the rear brake pedal and the shifter. luckily I have the genuine extended reach controls, where the actual peg mount is able to be removed. I had some new shorter ones machined up to put the pegs back in the right place.
Once you set the stirrups to your liking, they are the best on both long and short trips.

I have a set of Kuryakyn ones that fold up against the peg or you can have them down for heel support...Best of both worlds...

Here is my forward controls with stirrups fitted. The difference is I machined up new mounts that were shorter because the stirrups push the pegs out to wide in my opinion.
