Do you know if the front suspension on the OZ sportsters, Nightster/Iron is the same as the US e.g height?

 

I want to get lower rear shocks without lowering the front if it won't make it too slow in the handling.

 

I was thinking the 10 inch Licks shocks and try them out.

Fronts are the same, 04 and Up are ok with 10" . 11" on Early Models, I have 10" Ikons on my 06

Did you put a shorter side stand with the 10inch's

Hey Walka, on the Nightsters they've moved the wiring in the rear fender off to the side; so not as likely to rip it out as when it was along the top of the fender. Not sure if your 06 still had the wiring along the top?? With the Ns if they are 08 or 09 you are more likely to have a problem with the reflector bracket on the fender strut colliding with the top of your belt guard (if you still have a belt guard) and also the tyre making contact with the base of the EFI ECM dish that is under the seat if you go less than the 11" shocks. All depends on which shocks and what their fully compressed length is...
