I helped put a set of supertrapps on one last weekend. FXCWC in blue with silver flames. The looks grow on ya after a while.

I agree with you rodders that the Rocker looks a heap longer. Amazingly, it's only half an inch longer than my 03 Wideglide but it does have a 3.1 inch longer wheelbase. This may be because the front wheel is a 19 to the WG's 21 and the rear is 18 (and low profile) compared to the WG's 16 (high profile). Also, no rear overhanging fender on the Rocker. compared to the WG. Maybe it's the longer raked forks that gives the stretched look (and longer wheelbase of course) not to mention that big gap between the front wheel and the main frame. I reckon it's a pretty good looking street bike. I've been going hot and cold over the bikes looks for tha last 10 months but now it's getting closer I'm feeling much better about it.

A few guys on the US forum have already lowered the bike with great effect and the Standard seat looks a bit neater and lower to the rear fender. It will probably be a bit like the V-Rod where it just takes a while to get used to the new concept.

Hey rodders, personally I think ALL saddlebags look crap but that's just me!! I don't think that the setup on the Rocker looks any worse than others though. Check the US forum as I have seen several pics on there. Even one with 14" apehangers AND a windshield!!! Different strokes for different folks hey!!!
