I too have that problem, but I like the deluxe look and went with it. I have since added a SE103 stage 3 kit in. That gave it some beans, but I wanted more so at the moment the bikes getting a SE 113 race kit put in. I'm keeping the deluxe look to the point of having my SE rear tyre white walled. My only problem is well the motors out should I put in a new storker making her a 120R

One of the strong selling points of a Harley Davidson Big Twin is the choice! my personal choice knowing what I do now, I would go for the Heritage. Fairing and saddlebags and looks the part when stripped down for a run to the coffee shop with the glamorous wife on the back.
I am also hearing that the Fatboy low is just that, a bit low and a friend tells me that speed bumps have touched his under carriage.
