the computor i am useing to do this worp has xp on it and i cant get the computor to talk to the controller till i get this fucking driver and it is shittting me to fucking tears

Are you using the serial cable only or the serial to USB?

Sounds to me like you are using the serial only.  Getting things to communicate on a serial port can be a real pain if it doesn't work straight up.

Get hold of a serial to USB cable so you can plug the lead into a USB port on your computer.  I had no problem with a serial to USB.  You can buy them off ebay:

it was chops then i hooked it up on here and now it works and let me tell you after getting the map with the correct injectors holy shit dont go .............

Good to hear you got it going.  Yeah, I was a fan of the Thundermax when I had the Sporty, it's a good unit.
