Wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with the Samson Exhaust Brand.

Im looking in particular at ''Samson Legend Series Rip Saw Exhaust''

To go on 07 Softail with 103ci S/E Motor.

Experiences ? Photos ? Aussie Dealers ?

mickrod has them on his Vrod ... look in the " show us your bike " in the VRSC section ..... maybe post it there and Mickrod might tell you what he thinks .... from memory i think he said they LOUD

was looking to get the streetsweepers a while ago, done a search & posted same question on US forum - not good feedback, peeling chrome, manufacture was not up to scratch, no support. This was only them guys experiences though. From feedback I went looking elsewhere

From what it seems so far everyone has not had great experience with them.

got them for $650 of some one on this forum brand new

Got sampson upswept fishtails on my softail and had no probs, been on for a year and its ridden every day to work. Fitted like a glove and sound awesome.

I have Samson longtails on my Deluxe off M&M cycles.  There was a defect on the chrome on one of the heat shields, but they sent me a new piece free of charge, including shipping from the US.  Haven't had any other problems with the chrome or pipes.  Easy install and sounds great. Everything is made in china nowadays so we see more & more problems with all products.  I just ordered some chrome bolts from the dealers and a couple had rust under the head.

I hope you went with the Samson pipes mate. I have a set on my '06 Nightrain and I love 'em. Look great, nice and fat chrome is outstanding and they sound awsome. Bit suprised on the negative feedback here.

Bruce Norman for SA. Just imported an 06 nightrain from the US. Best thing I ever done. Got a great deal and safe as houses. Its my third Harley and I was looking around for some info on the Samson products as I have never used these pipes before. As discussed i am real happy with them. I want to start playing with the fuel injection now. It has a stage 1 filter set up and a re-map I believe but it's never been on a dyno and I'd like to get as much out of the engine in its stock form as I can. I have not had any experiance with the fuel injection before and could use some tips.

If it has had a remap it may? be ok but if you want to do your own tuning with the EFI then there are plenty of products out there. Have a look in the Tuning Section of this forum, a lot of your questions will be answered there. Me I use the TTS as it gives a lot of options that some of the others don't. Having said that it can be very daunting when starting out. Do your homework and see what best suits. You will get plenty of help here with whatever tuner you get.

Got some Samson Longhorns with fishtails on my Indian chief 2010 black cermaic coated no problems at all. Sound great a bit loud so we fitted the quiet baffles
