A mate has a pair of Burleigh Chubby bars that I want to buy, but they have a sticker on them saying that they fit '96 and up. I cant see anything different about them to ones that fit my '86 FXR. Before I commit to buying them, I need to know what might be different? Are the holes where they mount to the tripple tree different distance between centres or something? or are there subtle differences in the top where the controls go that I cant see without putting the 2 next to each other? I would really like them, but if they wont fit then its game over. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Do they mount via a bracket off the trees or are they 1 piece? there is lots of stuff out there that is 96 and up but will still multi-fit. When I sold my 2001 Heritage it was wearin a set of westerns off a shovel.
