Wow what a weekend. Great weather, good bunch of guys. Who would have thought it was winter?. Great ride there and back. Well the ride back would have been better if someone wasn't so much under the weather  I was glad we stuck to the straight roads home, the less concentrating the better  ha ha

Had a great weekend. Thanks to Stix for making it happen and everyone else for coming along and making it entertaining.

Hyden seems to be one of those towns where one man owns everything and as we were pissed off with the motels restraunt with ridiculous prices on self cooked meals we went to the roadhouse next door. Fifteen minutes after feeding us the roadhouse cook was serving us drinks back in the pub

The locals were all friendly and welcoming (isn't that right Bald-Ivis?)

Looks like you guys had a great time, bpicking up the FXDB this time home so will hopefully catch up with a few of you soon and be coming along for the next one. Great pics too.

good to hear yas had a safe run ,hopefully ill be back in the swing of things in coupla months been restricted to short rides for last few months .

Thanks for a great ride Stix, it was the perfect number of guys and a lot of exciting and tight riding..with a nice bunch of blokes.. Thanks to bob I think it was on the road king who pull over and waited for me when I lost my air filter cover on the way home, sorry to hold you up mate and I see you did not manage to catch up to the group again..sorry mate but thanks again it was a bit of a challenge to catch the boys and took a few klms but I managed. The bolt holing the air filter cover on vibrated a hole right out of the filter plate.  Thanks crasha for some wild  good high speed stuff, although I think I will be more comfortable when I see you back on your fatty, not sure if that bobber likes the sweepers as much as you do mate but some fearless riding none the less.. I reckon if you can corner that thing with its springer front end you could corner on anything. Thanks again boys for making the new guy feel welcome.

I couldnt work out wtf you were holding and it took a while to find somewhere to pull over and turn around. I was about to start heading back the other way when you blasted past.

I got past a couple of cars but by then we were pretty close to town so I just flipped the cruise control on and tootled in.

Thanks Surly it happened pretty quick one minute riden along happy as larry next thing i felt something on my lower leg and looked down to find my air filter cover just sitting there angainst the motor and my leg, very lucky it did not fall onto the road it could of hit you or Dave.. Anyway thanks mate it was good of you to stop.. i will look at a lighter air cover..

Looks like a bloody good time was had by all so hopefully will be able to join ya's next time..........$28 for a cook yrself.......fark, they tried to charge us $100 a night for a room when we went there last time but we just slept on the back porch for nothing.

I looked around everywhere but fucked if I could find him.
