Wanna get my bike re-sprayed. Red with black kind of bits. Nothin fancy maybe some metalflake in the paint. Just the tank and rear guard. Had two quotes, $2500 and $3000.... Fuck me !  Am i just nieve to how much this sort of work costs or are these places dreaming ?

A quality custom paint job takes time, and and GOOD materials are damn expensive.

If you are serious about a good paint job, and prepared to spend some money, I can put you in touch with someone here in Ballarat that should be able to help you out a bit with price, and his work is top notch.

He will do anything from a basic paint job, to full on graphics/airbrushing etc'. Send me a PM with some more detailed info and a contact #, and I will pass it on to him.

geez mako wtf are they gunna do,i know matterial is costly havin been in the trade, but thats bloody way over priced for a gaurd and tank,was there going to be any facy work or just staight out repair and paint,if i wasnt doin the mates norton id do it for you.

Yeah thats cool !. I found someone to paint mine. Should have it back next week. Found a guy in moolap, Pro finish Kustom paint. Just does custom motorbike sprays and into the kind of thing i want done. And its costing $1200 !!. Top products used and knows his shit. The panel beaters can go beat their own knobs fuckin rip off twats. No offence.

Wow, $1200 custom paint job, sounds like a a bargain.
