was just looking through HD parts and accessories and seen the combination speedo/tacho, part number- 74744-08.

does anyone have it? is it worth getting? comments?

Mate, i've got a similar one to that, 74719-07. Albeit not colour backlit. Easy to install and nice to see what RPM's are doing.

What's the cost on these things?

It would be nice to have a tacho

Still waiting!!! Apparently the manufacturer is having trouble keeping up with demand. Check availability before placing an order. My order was with Zanotti's in the US.

I got mine from MandM had to wait about 3 weeks. Worth it though.

The picky of Czareks is the same as mine, albeit mines on a dyna.

Just had a look around and the one for a Dyna is Part #74719-08 for the Km version

It appears the -07 part number units will suit my 08 Softail but I was told the LCD panel doesn't have all the functions of the stock item. I desided to wait and see. Now they have released an updated part number ie. -08, but cant provide info on the difference! Any body know???

Deadly. Wouldn't have a clue really however, with the 07 i can tell you the clock doesn't work or, 6th gear light.
Both of which i don't give a shit about.
1) I dont want to know the time when out and about.
2) If i can't tell the difference between 1st and 6th gear??!!!!......

My speedo combo has 6th gear indicator, however it does not have a clock and distance to empty that the original speedo had.

I love it anyway

Speedo/Tacho part number I have is:   74719 - 07.

It is in Km/h and I paid circa $800 through the dealer (steeler).

It has 6th gear indicator, main odometer and two trip meters. It doesn't have distance to empty and the clock but I can live with (without) that.

Pizzlin the only thing I know is the sixth gear light don't work on the 05's my brother told me.

Ill go and buy a couple of slabs, two cartons of smokes, then a counterie and have a punt on the gallops or pokies then go to centrelink plead poverty and get an advance.

My day is planned, just listen to "Blake's Jerusalem" one more time then I'm OFF.
