    Harley do discontinue bikes every now and then do to demand. With the Nightster, Iron and 48 all coming from the 'Sportster' family there's only so much room on the production line and only so many Sportster buyers. They have to rationalize it somehow.

    What's more astounding is that the Night Train hasn't returned...

    I think the Iron and Nightster have been big sellers, if you've kept an eye on who's been registering lateley on here, there's plenty of new Iron owners.  With a lot of deman for these new models, it's not surprising that they are discontinuing the older Sportster standard and C's.  I wouldn't be surprised if they ressurected the Sporty C in future or made a new model based on it.

    I was told the one I got 2 weeks ago is the youngest one in Australia as no more are beeing made it has a 5/2010 compliance plate.
