Hi all,

It's about time I introduced myself since I've already had 4 posts according to the counter!

I'm in Canberra & my ride is a '94 dyna convertible which is slowly evolving (although it would evolve a little quicker if it were a softail it seems).

Other bikes include a '71 bonneville project (almost there) and a raked '73 Tiger (bit of a rego hassle so I'm looking at hardtailing it while I'm at it).

I'm back into bikes after a 20+ year hiatus- previuos bikes include a Ducati 500GTV (but we wont mention that) & an '81 900SS.

As soon as I get this pic uploading thing worked out I'll put up a couple of images. It's nothing flash but it's low mileage (25k) with FXR bars, slip ons, rear Avon venom white wall (front on order), forward controls, Mikuni just arrived & bare bones seat coming on a sloooow boat from the US... I bought it as I wanted something reliable that I could do longer trips on (I miss the Adelaide hills) as well as something that the 'war wounds' could deal with better than the SS.

It has the original bags & screen as well.

I love riding the thing & do so usually every day of the week (a Canberra winter may be cold cold but it's usually dry)!

So, what should i be looking out for bike wise?

I pulled up next to an unfortunate fellow on Saturday who had a new wideglide with some deep road rash already on his derby cover due to the ubiqitous bad driver. Needless to say he wasn't happy.

My convertible will now be travelling a little faster thanks to the Mikuni I finally installed today.
