Night Rod Special

Went for a test ride of a Night Rod Special today...man alive what a machine, nothing like an ordinary Harley, more power cruiser, although the stock mufflers were a joke, although they still produced a decent bark at high revs...the bike itself was a blast, that engine is a gem, it just wants to rev and rev some more. As far as a long trip on it, I wouldn't last to long, the bars are about 3-4 inches too low, although I was assured that with a new set of bars would work out the posture. At one stage I looked down and was doing 140 with ease. The bike is incredibly stable at high speeds, that 240 rear tyre certainly makes the difference with road holding.  Would I buy one, you bet I would, just for that engine. A top machine, well done Harley

I also took one for a test ride, they are a brilliant piece of engineering. I was uncomfortable, though, and the seating position was not for me.

hey all . Wanted to know if 30,000 km alot for 07 v rod and what to look out for when buying one with km on it ... i know it not huge but if service history checks out what is on going maintenance like on these motors... hesitant to trade my sporty with only 15,000 on it for something with double km ... but i also been told they bullet proof ???
