Went for a test ride of a Night Rod Special today...man alive what a machine, nothing like an ordinary Harley, more power cruiser, although the stock mufflers were a joke, although they still produced a decent bark at high revs...the bike itself was a blast, that engine is a gem, it just wants to rev and rev some more. As far as a long trip on it, I wouldn't last to long, the bars are about 3-4 inches too low, although I was assured that with a new set of bars would work out the posture. At one stage I looked down and was doing 140 with ease. The bike is incredibly stable at high speeds, that 240 rear tyre certainly makes the difference with road holding. Would I buy one, you bet I would, just for that engine. A top machine, well done Harley
