ok here's the problem,

the indicators on my 95 dyna work fine at idle or with the key at accessory but when i ride the bike  , they won't flash, they just stay on constant,

should i just do the simple thing and change out the flasher can if it has one or should i delve deeper ? your thoughts gentlemen.

thanks for the help Zag, but looks like i solved the problem, turns out it was the indicator bulbs, i had switched to smoked lenses with amber bulbs, so i switched back to standard setup and alls good, so must have been a dodgy bulb not flowing enough current or something like that, working fine now

 

it doesnt hurt to quirt a bit of possum piss into the socket. My Lowrider did the same thing 2 weeks ago on the way home. It was a dry socket and an easy fix with a quick squirt, didnt need to replace globes. If the globe ratings are the same, spray PP (DWD 40) and try again.
