G'day Lonerider there are some fantastic custom spray painters in Australia and I hope the one you are talking to is good.

 I live in Hervey Bay Qld and just up the road from me in Maryborough is The Paint Doctor here is the link to his site http://www.paintdoctor.com.au/ his custom paint jobs on bikes and Hot Rods have won many awards all around Australia then you have Little Mick and Brushfire as well in Qld and the same applies for there custom paint work and I am sure there are many other great painters though out Australia and one thing to remember if you get the paint work done overseas and get a chip in it you may find it hard to get anyone to fix it here and that means shipping it back to the States to be repaired so the cost of shipping could make it one very expensive paint job please be aware of that cheers.
