between the evo and the twinky are the axels different diameters ?
 

can anyone tell me will evo wheels fit a twinky just curious

There is a progression of axle changes, and it does not coincide with any particular model changes.
If you look in the HD accessory catalogue that deals with wheels, you will find all the various "wheel mounting kit" variations listed, from which you can get some idea regarding wheel compatibility.

thats not what i asked no offence ............

i want to know if there is a differance in the diamiter of the axle ........ i know in 06 or 07 they went from a 1" dia axel to 1. somthing "

but i'm only interested in evo to 05 bikes (twinkys) the spacers can be fucked with

G'day MJ,
I think you are pretty safe looking up to 02, I believe they changed the FLH's to 1 inch that year
and I have heard that some Softies also got the new axles then. So 02 to 05 you'd have to be careful.
In 08 they went from 1 inch to 25mm.
