whats the main differences between a xlh and xlch sporty?
according to this redbook site witch is apparently what most large bike shops use, the 79 - 83 xlh1000 is valued at 1800 - 2200 privte sale and 1200 - 1500 trade in..

i have seen a few with blown motors for those prices, but nothing running for less than 3. are they really that cheap, or has someone got their market research wrong?
$1200 - $2200?? If you can find one that cheap I wouldn't give a rats which one it was!!!!

what would be bottom dollar for a run down/rusted/unloved ironhead sporty in need of a full overhaul on bearings/brakes etc?
