Hey,

Can anyone tell me the part number of the rear swing arm on a 2010 xl sportster?    I am assuming the swing arm is identical to a 05-09?   Reason I am asking is because I have been looking at several lowering kits available but they are all advertised as 05-09.  Thought I'd check first.   Have sent a couple emails to the manufacturers of each one but still waiting for a response.

Yeah, you'll find a lot of Sportster aftermarket gear listed as up to 09 that will still fit the 2010 models. Manufacturers are often diligent enough not to promise items fit on new bike designs until they've been able to prove that they can. On the Sportsters this pertains primarily to the ECU system as it copped a major revision compared to previous models - which also effects the rear guard design.

The rear lowering kits are all good though.
