Question for people that have a battery charger cable connected to your battery, where did you rig the cable on a softail so that you don't have to keeping taking the seat off to connect battery charger?

I bought one of those battery fighters. They come with a cable that has covered connectors so that one end can be permanently connected to your battery. All you need to do is plug in the cable from the unit and switch it on. One thing I had to shorten the cable quite a bit as it was about 2m long and I only needed about 30cm. F fed the cable in behind my oil tank so that it doesn't hang out. The connector end has a cap that is put over the connectors when not in use, this keeps the connectors out of the elements.

Similar to AJ56 - I ran my cable so that the free end is tucked behind the coil cover when riding.

I have mine tucked under my leather tank divider, when I want to plug it in I just lift up the leather flap and the plug is right there

on my dyna , its rolled up and zip tied under the seat with approx 2 inches hanging don behind / to the side of the coil cover.
