Anyways, i am looking for a 2006 softail standard but have my heart set on a black one and can't seem to find one anywhere. Just want to know if anyone would have an idea what it would cost me to get the tank and guards sprayed black if i removed them all myself, as i am thinking it might be easier to buy a different colour as i am  getting impatient waiting or the right one.

I just went through doing exactly what you want. It cost me $1850 with harley davidson air brushed onto the tank. The painter removed everything and put it back together. Am very happy with the work. He is in Osborne Park if you are in the Perth area. let me know if you want his details.
