Hi Guys..... Is it necessary to disconnect the battery if it is gonna be hooked up to a "battery tender?" As the bike had been sitting for some months before it was purchased and only started on the odd occasion, I was thinking on buying a CTEK battery charger.

Usually they come with plugs that stay attached to the battery when its installed so you can just attach the battery tender/fighter pretty much instantly. I looked at the C-Tek ones but the guy selling them was a slimey fucker so I went to another store and bought a battery fighter instead.
